Lamia works as a volunteer assistant editor and in the education services division. She graduated from CSU East Bay with a bachelor’s degree in Human Development and a MA from California Baptist University in Early Childhood Education. She has been in the field of Education for over ten years working in after-school programs and services. She is currently a Learning Program Manager with SoCal Public Kipp schools. She has a passion for students' out-of-school learning and promoting literacy development through various projects.
